The fine print, in plain words
- Your link unlocks once your account is approved and your own events have sold to at least 3 buyers other than you, totalling 100 or more in sales.
- The 50% runs for 12 months from the day each organiser joins. If they joined with a fee promo, it starts when the promo ends.
- After those 12 months, that organiser's sales stop earning you commission. Everything earned in the 12 months is still paid to you.
- Commission is paid on online card sales. Free tickets, offline orders and refunded orders don't earn commission.
- Commission is paid monthly to your connected Stripe account once you're owed at least A$50. Our team checks your first payout before it goes out.
- You can't refer yourself or your own team.
- We may change or end Refer & earn. If we end it, commission you've already earned is still paid, and organisers still in their first 12 months keep earning you commission until those 12 months end.
Questions organisers ask
How much can I earn with Ticketlime Refer & earn?
You earn 50% of Ticketlime's fee on every ticket sold by each organiser you refer, for their first 12 months. In Australia that's about 33 cents a ticket on a $35 ticket. Three organisers each selling 100 tickets a month at $35 come to about A$1,215 in the first year.
Does it cost the organiser I refer anything?
No. They pay the same fees as everyone else. Your commission comes out of Ticketlime's share of the fee.
When do I get my referral link?
Open Refer & earn in your Ticketlime account. Your link unlocks once your account is approved and your own events have sold to at least 3 buyers other than you, totalling 100 or more. The page shows how close you are.
What happens after the 12 months?
That organiser's sales stop earning you commission, and everything earned in the 12 months is still paid to you. Each organiser you refer has their own 12 months, counted from the day they join, so every new referral starts a new 12 months.
How and when am I paid?
Commission is transferred to your connected Stripe account once a month, whenever you're owed at least A$50. It's separate from your own ticket sales, and it's only paid on online card sales that weren't refunded.
Is this the same as the partner programme?
No. Refer & earn is for organisers already selling on Ticketlime. Venues, media and influencers have their own partner programmes with different rates.
What if Ticketlime ends Refer & earn?
Commission you've already earned is still paid. Organisers you referred who are still in their first 12 months keep earning you commission until those 12 months end.
