SMS Terms & Opt-In Information

Overview

TicketLime, operated by Tickets Dance Pty Ltd (ACN 680 066 102) ("we", "our", "us"), sends transactional SMS messages only. The single type of message we send is a one-time verification code (OTP) used during checkout. We do not send marketing, promotional, or recurring text messages.

This page explains what messages you may receive, how you consent to them, and how to stop them. It is referenced from the checkout step where you provide your mobile number.

When you receive an SMS

You will only receive a verification code when all of the following are true:

  1. You are buying a ticket for an event that includes a first-timer-only offer, and
  2. You enter your own mobile number in the checkout verification step, and
  3. You tap "Send code" to request the verification code.

Tapping "Send code" is your opt-in. We never message a number that has not been entered and submitted by the person at checkout. We do not store your number for any future messaging beyond verifying the order in progress.

What the message contains

A single SMS containing a 6-digit code, for example:

Your Ticketlime verification code: 123456. Expires in 10 min.

The code expires 10 minutes after it is sent. The message is sent by the sender ID Ticketlime.

Message frequency

One-time per request. A code is sent only when you request it. If you do not receive it, you may request a new one, subject to a limit of 3 codes per phone number per hour to protect against abuse. There is no recurring or scheduled messaging — there is no list to be subscribed to.

Consent is not a condition of purchase

Verification is only required for events that offer a first-timer-only price. You can always purchase a standard ticket without providing a mobile number.

Opting out

There is nothing to unsubscribe from. We only send a verification code when you explicitly request one by tapping "Send code", and we never send marketing or recurring texts — so you will not receive a message unless you ask for a code again. Our verification messages are sent from a one-way sender ID ("Ticketlime") that cannot receive replies. Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. TicketLime does not charge you for verification messages.

Supported regions and carriers

Verification codes are delivered through our SMS provider (Brevo) to standard mobile numbers in supported countries. Delivery depends on your carrier; if a code does not arrive, you can request another or complete checkout without the first-timer offer.

Privacy

The mobile number you provide is used solely to send and verify your one-time code for the order in progress. We do not sell phone numbers or use them for marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Customer Terms and Conditions for full details.
